Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) / Master of Public Health (MPH) dual degree program
ATSU’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) and ATSU’s College of Graduate Health Studies (ATSU-CGHS) have joined together to offer dental students the unique opportunity to earn both their DMD and MPH degrees during their four years in dental school.
All ATSU-ASDOH students receive a certificate in dental public health as part of their dental school curriculum. The certificate consists of five classes from the MPH program, and these courses are included in the student’s ATSU-ASDOH tuition.
The MPH – dental emphasis program is a total of fifteen courses. The opportunity to continue with the MPH (10 additional courses) begins at the start of the third year of dental school. All courses outside of the five certificate courses are the financial responsibility of the student.
